The one with another BLBB skirt

Hi, my name is Nicola and i'm an addict.

I've bought three Betty Le BonBon skirts in the past two months...

AND IM NOT SORRY!

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

When Jasmine uploaded the cupcake print, it was a no brainer.

My blog is named after cupcakes after all!

The pink cupcakes were screaming to be owned by me.

The good thing about Betty Le BonBon is that you can arrange a payment plan if the print you want comes in just around the time you've just paid your electricity bill.

For example.

This may or may not be what happened to me...

A fabulous business that I actually discovered through Betty Le BonBon was Sunshine and Lollipops by Inkie May

Their main product is the fabulous paper bouquets like the one I'm holding in this shoot.

I was lucky enough to also spot this measuring tape broach on their webpage and snapped one up much more quickly than I could measure anything!

It never ceases to amaze me how talented and crafty people are and it gives me an extra buzz to be supporting Australian small business.

Go and check out the facebook pages for both these lovely shops when you get a chance.

The one with Aussie Curves Boho

BOHO

That's the theme for this week. I don't normally do boho as it makes me look fairly unkempt.

However, I decided that this ASOS dress that everyone is wearing at the moment could actually be classified as Boho.

For some reason I have a crazy cowlick that I didn't notice.

Whoops!

This outfit is probably the most comfortable one I have worn all week!!!

Why not show off your Boho style this week?

The one with the Blue Gown

I lusted after this dress for months.

I'd constantly check ASOS curve to see if it was still there and if it was on sale.

Yes to the first question, but never to the second.

In the end, I bit the bullet and got it at full price.

I'm not disappointed.

I love it.

LOVE. IT.

My only little quibble is that the splits aren't high enough, but that can be easily fixed.

(Is anyone else imagining me ending up cutting my dress in half by accident?)

The colour of this dress and the long lengths really make it a statement piece.

It's full on.

It's the subtle details like the leg splits and the bust detail that take it from conservative to tantalising.

I really need an event to wear this too.

After looking at these pictures I have decided I want to take it even further and pair it with super high black patent heels and some shiny bling around my neck.

I think this would be a dangerous dress if you were any shorter than me as the amount of length may dwarf you.

I took the risk as I tend to find that maxi dresses work well with my proportions.

I also found this dress was making me get hotter and hotter while taking these photos so I don't know if I would be wearing it in summer.

I think if I had to sum up this dress I would say it made me feel like an elegant grown up...
for a change!

The one with a Pop Art Print

Another more casual, wintery look today.

I've purchased a lot of t-shirts form ASOS and New Look lately and I often have trouble making them match my style.

You see I fall in love with a print, but then realise I don't really wear t-shirts.

So here is how I have been wearing one of my favourites...

I'm loving the Pop Art style graphics that are around at the moment and you will see more coming up on the blog in the next few weeks. This t-shirt is light and a good length. It even has stood up to going through the dryer a couple of times. Yes I'm a lazy clothes washer.

I lusted after this jacket from City Chic for months, when I finally came across it for around $20 at the outlet store in Campbeltown.

Score!

The one with Feminine Aussie Curves

When I realised that this weeks theme was feminine, I knew I had the perfect dress.

In fact that seems to be a common thread with this dress.

When I saw it being released, I knew it was perfect for me!!!

I like the collar and shape of the dress.

The fact that I love the print is a given.

I was concerned as it was not the typical Hell Bunny halter neck I may have not fit it properly, but it fits perfectly.

The belt even does up on the holes provided!

Hell Bunny wins again!

The one with Aussie Curves Green

This week's Aussie Curves Challenge is actually Green. You may not be able to tell that from this picture. But if you look closely there is green in there. It took this challenge for me to realise that green isn't one of my go to colours. It definitely pops up amongst other colours, but I have very few solo green things.

I picked up this top from Modcloth and am in love.

The colour, pattern and style all scream 'NICOLA.'

It's great for work to make me look well put together in minimal time.

It's the second time I've bought from the plus size Modcloth range and I continue to be impressed.

I am at the very end of their sizing range though so I tend to make sure I read the comments and fit details to look for stretch and sizing up vs sizing down.

Go see the other ladies! I'm sure we will all be green with envy...boom boom tish!

The one with the Autograph Outfit

I'm loving Autograph at the moment. Particularly for their work appropriate clothing.

This is an outfit I regularly would wear to work these days.

It looks good AND it's comfortable.

As it gets more into winter i'll have to pop some tights on with this skirt, but for the time being, it keeps me warm enough.

I think I want to go get this top in the teal colour as well. THAT'S how much I like it.

I'm getting better with the Gifs! Check it out!

All items from Autograph, except earrings which are ASOS!
